The Pros and Cons of the Nintendo Wii Fit

I have written several articles regarding the pros and cons of various games consoles and so it seemed fitting to me to write one concerning the Nintendo Wii Fit. Just in case you didn’t know, the Wii Fit is a current top seller for the Nintendo.

When you look at pros and cons of anything a very important factor to ask yourself is whether that pro or con is a fact or an opinion. Of course, mass opinion counts towards much and especially in this case. If you believe something is beneficial, that may be true, but it may be true only in your case, but if 99% of folk believe the same then you would more than likely accept that it will be true in your case also.

Following this, I believe that the pros and cons for the Nintendo Wii Fit are mostly, if not all, opinion and not actual, solid fact.

So, what are the pros and cons for the Nintendo Wii Fit? There aren’t too many and in fact they boil down to just two or three areas which come up almost every time someone gives an opinion on the Wii Fit.

Most opinion seems to suggest that the Wii Fit is too expensive at around £90 to £120, (at the time of writing) though I would add to that opinion that it hasn’t really stopped many from buying it. Wii Fit is a huge seller.

I’m not sure if this is a pro or con but the Wii Fit is not a game where you push buttons all the time – it’s quite the opposite – you’re doing, not finger pushing. For some, believe it or not, finger pushing is half the fun of using a console.

A big pro of course is that the Wii Fit does make you lose weight if you use it correctly, and people just love that about it.

That really is about it. If you carry out a search for yourself, you’ll find that almost all opinions regarding the Nintendo Wii Fit boil down to price and weight loss, though I have to repeat that though price is very often quoted as an issue it does not seem to stop people from buying the Wii Fit.

So, what do you think? Is the Nintendo Wii Fit worth the weight in gold or do you want to lose some of that weight? I’ll leave you to ponder that one.
