Nintendo revealed the third and final trailer for the Super Mario Bros. Movie as part of MAR10 celebrations. And it was freakin’ awesome.
The trailer was full of exciting details. Everything was bigger, more detailed, featured more of the cast, and showed off everything we have to look forward to in the film.
Illumination has done an incredible job with the animation. And as we hoped – the film seems packed with references to some of our favorite Mario and Nintendo moments.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie
The Super Mario Bros Movie trailer also gave us a bit more story details than previously revealed.
Seems like the story will focus on Mario and friends rescuing Luigi from Bowser.
The days of rescuing Princess Peach are a thing of the past.
The full cast was present to show their support of the final trailer and to get us excited about the release of the film.
Seth Rogen (Donkey Kong), Charlie Day (Luigi), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad), Chris Pratt (Mario), Anya Taylor-Joy (Princess Peach), and Jack Black (Bowser) all wishing us a happy MAR10 day.
Shigeru Miyamoto also says that the film is 100% complete, and is currently in the process of being localized for different markets.
It’s very cool to know that somewhere out there… there is a finished film ready to be viewed.
And we only have a few more weeks before we can all enjoy the Super Mario Movie in theaters!
