1996 – In New York, Apple Computer and Bandai demonstrate the Pippin Atmark multimedia system, to recruit software developers.
2006 – Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto is honored as a Knight of Arts and Literature by France’s Minister of Culture.
2009 – Capcom releases the Resident Evil 5 video game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the USA.
